On the southward-facing side of the roof, the typical structure of a photovoltaic greenhouse has the installation of transparent tedlar tempered glass photovoltaic modules able to ensure the same performances as the traditional systems but with better mechanical characteristics as compared to the ones of the common glass used in greenhouses and which transparency is up to 40% more than the glass surface.
